Indie Lee Lavender Chamomile Moisturizing Oil is a wonderful oil designed for use on your face, hair, or body. It is a super simple formulation, containing only jojoba oil, apricot oil, and essential oils of lavender and chamomile for fragrance. This is great for sensitive skinned folks, since a shorter ingredients list usually means less likelihood of a bad reaction. The entire brand is focused on natural eco-friendly products, most of which are organic. All the products are also cruelty free.
100% Natural Ingredients: Simmondsia Chinensis (jojoba) Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (apricot) Oil, Essential Oils of Lavandula Angustifolia (lavender) and Anthemis Nobilis (chamomile).
I love this oil as a moisturizing body oil. I apply it after I get out of the shower for optimum absorption. It does take a little while to soak in, but not much longer than any other body lotion. The smell from the lavender and chamomile is also quite lovely. It’s very calming and relaxing, but without being overpowering. It doesn’t linger either.
I have also tried it on my hair and face, but I definitely prefer it as a body oil. The only complaint I have about this product is that the pump is really difficult to control. You can never get less than a full pump. So if you want to use it on your face or hair, you end up getting way too much. It’s impossible to get just a couple drops, you always get a full pump. If Indie Lee changed the pump style, I would be way more likely to use it on my hair and face.
Overall, I really like this body oil and love what Indie Lee stands for. Their natural, eco-friendly, cruelty free, organic approach to product formulation is awesome. I also love that it’s packaged and presented in a very chic and luxurious manner. The packaging is a lovely glass bottle, with an elegant design. It looks very luxe sitting on my bathroom counter. No hippie granola eco products here. Everything is formulated to be effective, with ethically-sourced ingredients. That’s awesome. I can’t wait to try more of Indie Lee’s products.
